Live Worcs has been online for a few months now and the momentum is certainly gathering so I thought we had better make a bit more of an effort to update our blog.
There is still lots going on on the run up to Christmas including: An evening hosted by the nice lot at The Task In Hand at the Marrs Bar on the 17th December. Another one not to miss is the Llama Lounge at Worcester Arts Workshop on the 19th December. For more events you can find the full December Live Worcs listings here.

Christmas is almost here and the closer it gets the grumpier we all become. It’s impossible to find a parking space anywhere near a shop that sells anything useful. If you do get lucky and find somewhere to park the shops are full of stressed present buyers shouting at each other as they all spend money they don’t have on presents that are overpriced and unwanted by the time the January sales start.
It all gives me a warm Christmas feeling.
Anyway there are lots of brilliant events going on for December in and around Worcester. If you want a different shopping experience don’t forget the Vintage Christmas Bazaar! on the 12th December at St Helen’s Church. Proceedings begin at 10am with lots of stallholders, Vintage – Crafts, Clothes, Gifts, Tea Shop and more. Pop in if your Christmas shopping in Worcester and grab a cuppa and get some different gifts this Christmas.

You may of seen Jon Richardson in October on Never Mind the Buzzcocks and even if you didnot he is well worth seeing. In 2006 he compleated a 60 date tour with Alan Chatty Man Carr and In 2008 he won the Chortle Award for best breakthrough act. Jon Richardson plays the Marrs Bar on the 3rd December

The Xcerts will be playing in Worcester on 5th December at the Firefly. They released their debut album ‘In The Cold Wind We Smile’ back in March this year and have spent 2009 touring their socks off with the likes on Idlewild, Funeral For A Friend, My Vitriol and Feeder – to name a few. Looks like another one not to miss.
